Martin E. Dennis, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., specializes in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is welcoming new patients to his practice. Dr. Dennis has a particular interest in ultrasound, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, and in alternatives to hysterectomy, including endometrial ablation. Dr. Dennis has special expertise in treating abnormal menstrual bleeding (such as heavy and/or prolonged and/or irregular bleeding), pelvic pain, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids. He also has expertise in advanced laparoscopic procedures (minimally invasive surgery) such as laparoscopic supra-cervical hysterectomy. He also enjoys being able to see his pregnant patients for all of their prenatal visits, and enjoys being able to personally attend the delivery of each and every one of his patients.

Dr. Dennis grew up in Buffalo New York, but he attended college at University of Nevada, Reno, where he graduated in 1990 with a BS in biology. He then attended medical school at University of Nevada School of Medicine, where he graduated with an MD in 1994. He then moved to Los Angeles, California, where he completed his internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After practicing in the upper Midwest for four years, he moved back to Reno (in 2002), where he has been practicing ever since. Dr. Dennis is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Dennis takes great satisfaction in helping improve the quality of life of women suffering from such conditions as pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and abnormal uterine bleeding, in caring for his pregnant patients, and in taking time to discuss with his patients any and all of their questions and concerns.
